The separate lunch bag clips right onto the backpack straps, which keeps my daughter's hands free when we're rushing to the car. The main compartment easily holds her heavy textbooks and a binder without looking bulging.
Bought this for my kid's school year and it’s held up well so far—the main compartment is roomy for books, and the separate lunch bag is a nice bonus. Only wish the shoulder straps had a bit more padding for heavier days, but for daily use it gets the job done.
